KCM, who months ago released his 4th album entitled “KINGDOM,” recorded a whopping 40 million digital downloads. Although his 4th album was reported to have been illegally downloaded, KCM still managed to reach this feat. If one imagines it, with the given figure, almost everyone in South Korea has listened to KCM’s songs because the country’s population is estimated at 50 million.

In September 2004, KCM debuted with his 1st album called “Beautiful Mind” and was followed by his 2nd called “Growing Up,” then his 3rd album “Love Affair.” He also released a special compilation album and 1 digital single called “Break Out January.” All of which have been available for digital download and recorded 40 million downloads.

According to Taewon Entertainment, KCM’s label, the figure is a summation of downloads since his debut from online music sites like Melon, Dosirak, Soribadam Mnet.com, and MusicOn and mobile transactions in SKT, KTF and LGT.

On the other hand, on April 5, KCM is set to hold a solo concert at the Busan KBS Hall and on May 3, he will be having his first Japan concert at the Japan Youth Hall in Shinjuku.

  1. I like KCM and his songs ok, but I didn’t think this title song was that great, especially compared to his past ones. His entire CD was so-so. Overall, I expected better so this news is very shocking…
