SG Wanna Be, press conference in Japan

Yesterday, SG Wanna Be attended a press conference at the office of PONY CANYON, the group’s label in Japan, to kick-off its activities in the said country.

During the press conference, it was mentioned that SG Wanna Be is going to release an album entitled “I LOVE sg WANNA BE+,” which is going to be a compilation of the group’s songs that its fans have selected through an online poll. The poll will start from January 27 to February 3 at SG Wanna Be’s Japanese official homepage http: // The special album will be released on March 19.

The members were then asked of their personal favorites from all their songs. Kim Yong Joon said that “Partner for Life,” which is from their 3rd album is his favorite, while Chae Dong Ha picked “Thank You,” and Kim Jin Ho favored “While You Live,” which are both from their sophomore album.

As expected, Chae Dong Ha was questioned about leaving the group.

“Until now, I still haven’t talked about it in South Korea. Right now, SG Wanna Be is going to debut in Japan so I would like you to respect it. We’re holding a concert tomorrow, even releasing an album in Korea soon and I’ll still be here until May. When the right time comes, I’ll speak,” Chae Dong Ha expressed.

It was also revealed during the press conference that SG Wanna will follow up the release of the album with a Japanese single and that the members are already studying Japanese.

Today, SG Wanna Be is going to hold 2 concerts (2:30 pm and 6:30 pm) at the Tokyo International Forum. As reported before, the audience will get a CD, which includes a new song called “I Want to See You (Aitai)” and its music video, as a special gift.
